Life Impacting Opportunities with Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio

Hello and thank you for your interest in joining the Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio year-round staff. Continuing your career at one of our camps will impact your life and the lives of numerous campers in a tremendous way.

Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio (LOMO) is an exciting program of the church serving thousands of campers every year. LOMO depends on its staff to provide fun, faith-filled and safe experiences for each camper. If you are interested in becoming a part of the LOMO team, here is what you need to know.

Positions may become available at any of our four sites:  Lutheran Memorial Camp is located on over 400 acres of woodland 30 miles north of Columbus. It has a beautiful setting with a wide range of youth programs for all ages. Camp Mowana, in the heart of Johnny Appleseed country just north of Mansfield, is rich in traditions featuring a variety of youth camp programs. Camp Luther is located on Lake Erie near Conneaut and is designed exclusively as a family camp.  LOMO Central Office, located in Westerville, is home to our organizational support staff.

Some of our year-round positions include:  Environmental Education Instructor, Retreat Host, Program Director, Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Facilities Manager, Facilities Assistant, and Office Manager.
