Care for the Earth
Our camps witness a holistic and faith-centered approach to stewardship of the earth through education and by example. Each group who participates in a LOMO program will have an opportunity to learn more about Creation and our role in its care.
Outdoor Education
Students from public and Christian schools participate in hands on exploration to gain knowledge of nature and the earth's natural processes, Ohio history and group building skills. Naturalists lead classes, enrichments and evening programs in tandem with classroom teachers to make each visit memorable. Resident and day field trip options are available. Retreats
Every group that comes to camp will have time to walk trails, observe wildlife, breathe fresh air and relax in the presence of God. LOMO staff members are available to lead creation stewardship program activities including nature hikes, night hikes, and group building exercises. We can custom design a retreat around a Creation Stewardship theme for your group. If you are interested in creation stewardship programming, ask the camp staff for their assistance while you are planning your retreat.
