Diving Deep Women's Spirituality Retreat

This retreat offers a unique opportunity for women to "dive deep" into their own life experience in order to discern the presence of God in their lives. Personal reflection, contemplative prayer, journaling and art activities will all help participants experience fresh insights and discover new sources of spiritual energy. This retreat is led by Pastor Karen Thompson of Bowling Green. Pastor Thompson is an experienced retreat leader and trained spiritual director. Making Room for Jesus Advent Retreat

Family events are designed for the whole family of God! Single adults, couples, single-parent families, grandparents and grandkids, and parents and children are all welcome!

Tired of "getting ready" for Christmas? We invite you instead to join us in preparing our hearts to make room for the baby Jesus! You'll enjoy games, traditional holiday crafts and treats, Christmas carols, special worship and more. But most importantly, you'll experience a quiet time and place apart from society's hectic demands during the holiday season. The retreat begins at 7:00 pm Friday and ends at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Oh, Shenandoah! Fall Colors Journey

This popular "rolling retreat" will take us through the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains and historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, as well as Washington D.C. Highlights will include visits to Appomattox Courthouse, Harper's Ferry, Monticello, Mount Vernon and the Shenandoah National Park. In addition, we will cruise the historic Potomac River, have opportunity to visit sites on or near the National Mall, and worship at the National Cathedral. Other points of historic and natural interest, along with unique shops and restaurants are also part of the experience. The very best part, however, is the fun, Christian fellowship, and worship shared with fellow travelers!

The fee is $998 per person, double occupancy, for this eight day, seven night "rolling retreat." This includes all transportation, lodging, baggage handling, group excursions, and most meals. A $500 per person non-refundable deposit is due by August 15, with the balance due by October 1. There is a $25 per person discount if your registration and deposit are received by July 1.
