In a day and age when there are so many different opportunities for families to vacation together, what makes LOMO Family Camps special? Each LOMO Family Camp offers a place set apart in God’s creation where families are able to experience a Christ-centered week of fun, worship, relaxation, and memories that will last a lifetime. Favorite aspects from family campers are the caring summer counselors, delicious meals prepared for you, the laughter that is shared, and the many friendships that are formed.

Days are filled with opportunities for swimming, sports, games, crafts, Bible study, campfires and worship; all with plenty of options for both times together and time apart. All people are welcome to family camp including single adults, couples, parents and children, aunts and uncles, and grandparents and grandkids.

There are two fees listed for each program and facility. The smaller fee is for registering online, the larger fee ($50 more per person) is for a paper registration.

Mowana Family Camp

Relax with your family and friends at beautiful Camp Mowana for a truly refreshing, faith-centered vacation. Join us for the full seven-days (Sat.-Fri.) or a partial week (Sat.-Mon. or Wed.-Fri.). You may choose from a full range of housing options: tent and RV camping, rustic cabins, or the Fleming Falls Retreat Center's hotel style accommodations with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. When you register select your dates of July 3-9, July 3-5 or July 7-9 and your choice of lodging: tent/RV, cabin, or Fleming Falls Retreat Center.

LMC Family Campground

Bring your tent, pop-up or RV for a weekend away from it all! Come on your own or bring everyone you know and have a reunion, church retreat, or friends gathering. There is electric and water at most sites, flush toilets nearby and a modern shower house down the road. The camp staff will not be providing program but there is much to do on your own including fishing at the lake, playing in the creek, relaxing, hiking and enjoying a campfire. There are 419 acres to explore!

The campground is open from May through October. From June 20 to August 13 it is available only during the weekends. The fee is $21 per site for up to 6 people. Call LMC directly to make a reservation at 419-864-8030.

Luther Family Camp

Located on the shores of Lake Erie, Camp Luther is designed especially for families. Expect your week at camp to be among the best vacations you have ever had. We provide a Christian community where families and staff interact via worship, play, laughter, Bible Study, prayer, crafts, sports, environmental activities and more. Each family week begins at 2:30pm on Sunday and ends at 10:00am Saturday morning. You will leave camp renewed in God's love with an extra skip in your step.

Finnish Heritage Week, Camp Luther - August 15 - 21

Come experience a traditional family camp experience with a special flare of Finnish culture. In honor of our Finnish heritage we offer special opportunities such as Finnish food and snacks, worship and music (some in the Finnish language), and daily retreats to our on-site sauna house. This program is a tribute to the loyal servants who helped start the original Camp Luther.

The fees are significantly reduced for this week in order to honor the Finnish founders of the camp, therefore no further discounts apply.
