Shining Stars

It’s your week to shine with days filled with friends, games and a few adventures!  Spend your days with hikes, campfires, swimming, outdoor cooking, the challenge course and opportunities to lead!  Learn about God and the glorious creation around us in a unique community setting.  At Lutheran Memorial Camp you’ll have the challenge of trying the climbing wall or at Camp Mowana you’ll get the opportunity of an off-site canoe trip. 

Each day you’ll also have time to learn something new with Specialty Programs in the following areas:

* Sports and Games

        * Nature and Environment

Astro

Get ready for flying fun as you experiment with the basics of flight.  Test out kites, model airplanes and even a rocket!  Spend the week in astronaut training with a weightless lunch, sleeping under the stars, weightlessness training in the pool and more!  All while making new friends and learning about our incredible Creator God.

Western Riding

Love horses?  This week will introduce you to Western Riding techniques and the care of horses.  You will spend either the morning or afternoon each day at the stables. No previous riding experience is required and all riding equipment is provided.

Soccer

Calling all kids who love to play soccer!  Spend up to four hours a day on the soccer field with awesome coaches and other kids who love soccer.  Learn new skills, have lots of fun and experience camp all at the same time!

Challengers

Are you ready for some adventure?  Challenge yourself to a week of fun and faith.  Start with getting to know the group on the challenge course.  Then tackle the climbing wall with a zip line, and once you’ve accomplished all that you’ll be ready for LMC’s very own Eco Challenge!  Take on physical challenges and grow in your faith through worship, Bible study and asking tough questions.

Outposters

This is not your ordinary week of camp!  Campers spend the entire week tent-camping and preparing meals in the woods of Mowana.  During the week you can hunt for crayfish in the creek, put your archery skills to work, go stargazing, do lashing, dine on wild edible plants, and much more.

Homestead

Explore your faith and God’s woods where you get to try out Dutch oven cookery, Homestead Ball, small group worships, and incredibly long creek hikes.  Learn about pioneer carpentry and help make benches, a walking stick and more!

EarthWorks Servant Camp

Want to help make a difference for the planet?  This unique servant experience will give you a hands-on chance to work on real, off-site projects in areas like wetlands preservation, reforestation, river clean-up, recycling and more!  Youth Directors and Pastors are welcome to join their youth for $175 housed in camp lodges or $225 in the Fleming Falls Retreat Center.
